Rules & Regulations


Tee Times are Available subject to the following guidelines:

•Tee times can be made up to 10 days in advance for full members. 5 days in advance for flex members. 
•Only (1) tee time per person will be available (i.e. for 3 tee times you need to have three different individuals call) 
•In case of frost, all tee times are delayed the length of time necessary for the frost to clear 
•Tee times have priority over walk-ons 
•Singles will be accommodated on a first come first serve basis 
•All matches shall commence on the first tee, unless otherwise authorized by the Head Golf Professional or any member of the Orchards Management

Member guest play is subject to the following guidelines:

•Guests are limited to playing twice per month and no more than 8 times per year (unless special permission is given by a member of the Management Staff
•One (1) guest per member suggested on Weekends & Holidays before 10:30 AM
•Exceptions to these rules may be made by the Head Golf Professional or other members of the Management staff

Junior Golfers are subject to the following guidelines:

•Ages 13 –18 may play as an adult subject to open tee time hours
•Ages 8 –12 may play during open tee time hours provided they are accompanied by an adult or have Head Golf Professional approval to play unaccompanied

The Orchards Management reserves the right to modify any of the above policies to ensure the best use of the club.

Cell Phone Etiquette

Cell Phone use is acceptable in the following areas
•Parking lots
•Locker rooms
•Golf Shop
•8th Tee box (when placing a turn order)
•Cell Phone use in all other areas, including the Golf Course is discouraged.
•Cell Phones should be either turned off or placed on silent mode when at the Orchards.

Please be courteous to your fellow members and limit cell phone use to designated areas.

Pace of Play

COURSE PACE RATING: 3:58 (18 holes)
2:04 Front – 1:54 Back

•All Par 3’s are cart path only. (CARTS MUST REMAIN ON PATHS!)
•Please keep cart 50ft away from tees & greens at all times
•Keep up with the group in front of you at all times.
•Your golf course position is directly behind the group in front, not directly in front of the group behind.
•You must allow faster groups to play through when a hole is open in front of you, regardless of pace of play.

PACE OF PLAY: Warnings
1st offense: Professional staff will ask you to regain position with the group in front of you.

2nd offense: Professional staff will move your group into proper position.

Golf Dress Code for The Orchard Country Club


Men:
•Shirts with collars and sleeves are required and to be tucked in at all times. Mock neck shirts are acceptable attire.
•Shorts are permitted, but must fall no higher than 4 inches above the bend in the back of the knee
•Pants and shorts with elastic waist bands are not permitted
•Denim in any form is not permitted on the golf course. The definition of denim extends to pants, skirts, shorts, shirts or any article of clothing made from denim. Denim is allowed in the clubhouse as long as it is clean and free of holes.
•Hats must be worn forward at all times.

Women:
•Shirts without collars must have sleeves. Sleeveless shirts must have collars.
•Shorts are permitted, but must fall no higher than 4 inches above the bend in the back of the knee or have a 17 inch out seam
•Denim in any form is not permitted on the golf course. The definition of denim extends to pants, skirts, shorts, shirts or any article of clothing made from denim. Denim is allowed in the clubhouse as long at it is clean and free of holes. 

Juniors:
Same guidelines as stated above for both men and women

Guests:
It is the responsibility of members to see that guests are properly attired in acceptable dress while in the clubhouse and on the golf course
